Bio

I am a Brazilian Cinematographer and Colorist currently based in Stockholm. My journey in the film industry came during my studies in the film school, where I started as a camera assistant and focus puller. Years of dedication within camera departments provided me with an important foundation needed to launch my career as a Director of Photography. A good understanding of set dynamics and expertise of the photographic equipment gave me the confidence to lead as a head of department.

For nearly 20 years, I have worked on documentaries, fiction, TV series, and commercials. My transition into color grading came from a natural desire to understand post-production processes, serving as a great complement to my work as a cinematographer. The need to dialogue with colorists led me to dive into color science, eventually becoming a professional colorist myself.

Years of working on documentary projects and film sets have brought me flexibility to work under different production realities and, above all, the ability to work in harmony within challenging environments.

My interest in image creation keeps me refining my craft. I believe this combination of skills from production to post makes me a multifaceted professional. My portfolio includes the short films Selma depois da Chuva (Selma After the Rain) and Bloco dos Corações Valentes (Brave Hearts), which have been screened and awarded at international film festivals, and the feature film Five books (Livros Restantes), currently available on Amazon Prime Brazil.
